The project was originated in the partnership with MUTEK 2021 festival, as a part of MSc Interaction Design 2021 course at IED Barcelona.
MUTEK is an international festival dedicated to the dissemination, development and internationalisation of digital creativity in sound, music and audiovisual art. More information is available here.
The brief of the project was to create an AR experience to showcase the newest Reebok sneaker Insta Pump Fury OG at the sivasdescalzo store in Barcelona.
Deliverables:
Importantly, the design has to include the main MUTEK theme, blossoming flowers, as well as the theme of air and pumping, coming from the Reebok shoes.
AR experience
The AR experience had to showcase the shoe, as well as provide links to the partners websites: MUTEK festival, SVD store and IED Barcelona.
Here, I created an animation of the blooming flower with the shoe appearing from the middle of it. The buttons with the partners' links also appear inside corresponding flowers.
This animation was exported as GLTF suitable for using it as the AR experience.
Vinyl Poster
The poster in the store window follows the floral theme as well, and contains all the relevant information: logos and the QR code that leads to AR experience.
My design was intended to be light, full of air, semi-transparent to let people see the store interior through the poster.
